This Garden Design series has been created for people who would like to sharpen or develop their garden design skills. You are welcome to try out a class or two or take the entire five-course series. Each workshop consists of lecture and hands-on practical exercises. The goal of this series is to walk the participants through the design process in a linear manner so they can apply the process to other design situations.

Responding to the need for in-depth design instruction without a long time commitment, each workshop is an intense, day-long immersion course. Because of this format, a detailed manual is provided for each course. This series offers a combined total of more than 230 pages of lecture content and diagrams along with more than 45 design exercises.

Please note: You will not be working on your personal landscape plan(s).

Each workshop costs $99. Discounts available for Master Gardeners and Groups. Some workshops may have a materials fee.

	Advanced Garden Design II This workshop will give the participants an opportunity to apply design theory to practical design exercises centering on planting design as it relates to architecture. The incorporation of hardscape elements will be introduced. (Detail)
	Garden Design Graphics This workshop will teach the participants basic drawing skills and their application to garden design illustration. Amateur and professional gardeners alike will learn to convey their design ideas into a crafted landscape drawing.
